A friend’s daughter has the MG, which really rates. I think it’s the cheapest and being Chinese is bang up to date.

Yes just don't end up driving like a caravan driver without a caravan

I have fitted michelin pilot sport 4S tires and lost 10km from my range.
What I like about EVs is that you don't need for oil to heat up or mechanical sympathy and your neighbour won't give you a vertical stare should you give it the beans leaving the village.
Trail braking and using regen is counter intutive for economy driving, but in an EV you can make back miles by commiting to a corner.
