James - I've just remembered the girl/woman you're referring to ...

She was married to that guy 'Andrew' but I don't think she had an RS but she did have a 2.4S that was being converted to RS spec.

I met them several times (they bought lots of bits from me) & remember her in particular as she was 'stunning' ... :love4:

Her name was Jessica - still have her business card somewhere (she was a designer) ...

Great pics and memories, thanks for posting James. My car was racing at around the same time as well, driven by Chris Strakosch.
The force is strong in this one ......

Very cool, thanks James

I wonder if Mike Burtt’s RS is the one he still has today (blue over white)

Another one.

I think this one was raced by Kevin Morfett:

I considered buying this car from Kevin back in the late '80's/early '90's (can't remember exactly when !)

I'm fairly sure this is the same car (originally a RHD 911E registered PYP 922L) that was previously owned by Vic ...

Nice to see a couple of 911T’s racing. The engine cc is quite broad in category D.

I see Tiff Needell in that class.

Bob always moaned to me about the car damage incurred claiming that once only his roof was dent-free...
I think he ran several cars inc a pale yellow 911E owned by an Office furniture shop owner (I think) and featured in Supercars and Classics magazine. I loved that yellow 911E.

The Maserati family got really involved, Jamie, his wife and son too at one point.

It would be worth getting the VHF video on a stick to watch it all again. :drunken:

Chester wedgewood was the furniture sponsor ,I think.?

Andy everill, an estate agent at the time and Jessica came to buy a high mileage 993 Rs
Yoda knew the car well, Jessica insisted driving it ,never been so scared.........all about 10 years ago, perhaps she was not used to more modern cars !!

Great thread, brings back some memories.
I’ll try to dig out some old albums from when I worked at Autofarm, but here’s a scan from Donington in c.1986 when Tiff Needell was guest driver in the Giroflex car. After a poor start from pole, he cut through to win convincingly.

Also pictured Nick Wenham in 930, Bill Taylor, Mike Burtt (?) in white RS and Josh Sadler 911SC to 3.2 spec
