Quite what passers by made of these two shady characters hanging around a lay by I'm not sure...

Made it to the overnight stop at Lake Vyrnwy, beautiful.

Interesting to see the blue car's seem to change colour with each shot, for the record Riviera the lighter, Mexico the darker.
cheers, Mike.

Pub lunch on Day 1 was The Felin Fach Griffin, near Brecon.
The chicken dish Mike pictured was rather lovely but I'd can also thoroughly recommend their Rhubarb & Custard desert. Yummy. :)

Yes, it was fun. On several occasions when the road opened up and we gathered speed I found myself squealing with delight. It's exhilarating stuff driving a 911 near the limits. :)

The sign in this picture illustrates the turnoff for our hotel.
All three of us missed it and then proceeded to drive alongside the waters edge for a further 5 miles or more down the lake, looking for our lodgings.
We stopped, quizzed a hiker and he explained we'd passed it miles back.
On the return leg the hotel was easily visible up on the hill side in front of us. :)
