Towards the end of a month there is often issues if you don't pay - as you say you use up your limits but should be ok when the new month comes

not sure then.. I only noticed when every forum I visited had photos replaced by the photobucket no linky graphic. Do you have a free account or do you pay ?

from their new terms :

Free account : Each individual Member gets one free account that provides 2 GB of free storage or space available for your original photo files, or videos under 10min. The free account does not allow any image linking or 3rd party image hosting. If a free account Member exceeds their Content Limit, their account will be immediately suspended and they will need to become a “Paying Member” (defined below) in order to continue accessing their account. You can upgrade to a Plus account at any time.

The site has been going down hill for some time - I'd imagine that's the final nail in the coffin and they will see a mass exodus now

I have a free account containing 290 images and no videos. Lots of the images I have on Photobucket I do not have saved elsewhere. Maybe they have just not got round to restricting mine yet.

If they restrict everybody's account surely that means that a lot of images will be lost from this forum?

all mine on ddk have now been 'lost'

I've replaced a few on my 2.4S thread with ones I've transfered into flickr

I'll slowly transfer more across , but can't imagine I'll have time to go through the threads and replace them all

Unfortunatley a lot of the technical & ' how to ' threads had a great photos in them

That was easy, but can you get rid of the text after the picture?

Can you imagine how many pics and good reference across the globe have been lost with this - how to pee off millions overnight and wave goodbye to a business - the vitriol against PB is growing by the minute. If they'd have made it a small cost then it wouldn't have been so bad

Excellent  and if you trim the code to just the (img) (/img) you'll lose the title at the bottom.

I see Postimage have a phpBB plugin which I guess would allow us to attach images direct in DDK? But hosted by Postimage themselves. Could that be a solution the 'how do you add a picture?' threads?

Worth looking into?
