Hi Nige,
Don't have an issue with the impact bumper cars as the original covers (part 1 in your diagram) fit over our panel and are readily available from Porsche for a few quid.
The issue is the early cars. They have small screw on covers (part 5 in your diagram). There is no way these covers will work with our panel due to the height of the blade fuse holders and the different spacing of the fuses.
We're going to run with the clip on guard. It offers similar protection to the original cover and on most cars is hidden behind the carpet anyway.
p.s. Might take you up on the origami skills though! Lots of things in the pipeline...

No worries, I thought early ones had a similar cover just slightly different. Is it just straight and long then?
