Jonathan, did you have a "moment" on your laps? I seem to remember you saying something about it as our laps ended but I never saw any footage or heard the story

Hey all, I just wanted to say thanks for some of the hilarious comments in this thread and apologise to those who thought my approach a little too enthusiastic. It's difficult to reign it in sometimes on such an awesome circuit as Spa.

I enjoyed spending time on track with you guys, I'm very envious of some the cars you brought to the Classic. I hope I get a chance for a closer look next year. If you enjoyed the trip as much as me and my mates, I'm sure you'll be back in 2016.

Gota ask, what's the spec of the Mazda? It appears to be very nicely set up and balanced.

The Mazda goes quite well and is something I've been fettling for a few years. Its a 1997 UK spec 1.8 mk1 with a TD04 Subaru turbo, RX8 injectors, megasquirt ECU, 2.5" single box decat exhaust. Cooling is through an upgraded radiator and Mocal oil cooler. Suspension is Gaz Gold Pro with an alignment that has evolved through trial and error. TorSen diff, stock brakes apart from Axxis Ultimate pads and braided hoses. Tyres are Federal RSR. Bang for buck its difficult to justify anything else. Nothing breaks and parts are cheap. It keeps the wife happy(ish)

Aha - that's an interesting spec - what HP are you making? I was in the green Targa you went past so easily

And btw, full respect for coming on the site and being so up front about the comments We're a friendly bunch really.....well apart from the massive pi55 taking you get if you drive a targa.
