indeed. I had had a couple of Escort Mk 1 1600GTs (Mexico) when I bought mine,what a revelation in handling and especially brakes!

They really are great cars, better than i imagined, the guy who buying the car had an inspection done last friday, i chucked him the keys for a test drive on his own, he was gone way longer than i thaught and came back with the biggest smile on his face, says it all really.I brought the car pretty cheap just to move it on really but now sad to see it go. Only had it 3 months.I'm actually still waiting for the money to hit my account, should be today so there is always a chance although you will need to wait in line as a guy rang yesterday and offered me more than i sold it for. He wanted to come up yesterday with cash.

What a lovely car, great color. I have still to drive mine. The car was sent straight to Alfaholics to have the suspension upgraded and it has all got out of hand. I should have the car by the end of next week. Really looking forward to it and hopefully it drives and sounds as good as it looks.
