I think the look is completely ruined by the ducktail.

……a lot of great cars get featured in 911 world!

Good to see lots of different opinions…..some totally expected.

I personally like the 'less is more' subtle look, although IB's aren't for me…

..…I guess for someone who wants a real fun drivers car that's well sorted and easy to live with on a day to day basis without shouting about it…....apparently all the work has been done to take this car up to well over 300BHP if required, just needs hotter cams.

Well I guess they must be! :P

As most on here well know, I'm illiterate when it comes to anything technical!

Just repeating what I've (think) been told…….I suggest anyone seeking full comprehensive details should talk directly to Nick at Redtek. The man knows air cooled engines.

I can certainly give an informed opinion on how it drives though! 8)

For a change it seems I did hear correctly......

.....the car currently has 2.8 cams, the extra BHP would come from fitting 3.0RSR items.

For a cool IB, the one in the bridge ticks the boxes for me

Advert now placed….. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=49656

Nick dropped this car off to me a couple of days ago so I could take photos and I returned it early this morning….

….I went cross country taking in some unnamed roads, the B4437, B4022 and B4030….fantastic driving roads with some awesome twisty stretches where even the straights rise, fall and dip…..an hour and a quarter of driving bliss! 8)

I thought this car was good when I first drove it, I now think it's immense and an incredible all-round car.

I'm not just saying that because Nick is a buddy..….if anyone is half curious, go and drive it…...it' a blast!

I can't wait to get my Mongrel on the road! :bounce:

It appears that I am in deep, deep trouble for casting aspersions on the ducktail! Nick would like to point out that he'd happily do the car with a different tail for the more discerning buyer. 8)

At the rate we are going, the motor from the silver car is going in the white car and I'll be a happy 78 SC owner!

So I can report that in the flesh the car looks superb (even if it's an IB) and the tail works really well.

And in other breaking news I can also report it an absolute peach to drive. Lith, chuckable, light, positive, an utter joy. And the short stroke 3.2 is simply awesome, revvy, pulls brilliantly. Just love it.

So no idea whether it's one thing or another, or whether there should be more shrink-wrap on the coil contacts or any of those things. Just a lovely looking car and a hoot to drive.

And finally, I had a tiny tiny drive of my G50 hot rod that has been nearly 4 years in the making. I don't think I have any appropriate words! 350bhp in 1075kg  If only we could get DVLA to pull their finger out.
