Hi there. Just reading your thread. There is one here in nz on trademe.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 067268.htm
You'd have air freight which would be expensive. However we have a airNZ porsche club member who may be able to assist with getting it there.
Cheers
Richard

Re: 901 gearbox failure - Need a new one if anyone can help
Hi Richard,
I'd probably want a box with internals rather than just a case and I'm sure that the postage would be prohibitive having sent some items to NZ in the past. At least it would be lighter to send without the internals but still too much ! My damaged end case is probably repairable if I needed to do that. Thanks anyway.
Still looking for a 901/902 aluminium case box if anyone has one out there

Chris, can you provide the casting part # on the main case, and the casting date. They should be near the diff cover. Please confirm this is an aluminium case. I'm trying to build a database of all the transmission variations.

Hi Chris,
good to hear from you. Hope you are well.
I think the 902/01 box is a 4 speed verion the 5 speed versions being 902/1 for the '66-'67 models and 902/02 for the '68 model. I really need a 5 speed verion but I'll PM you for more details just in case.
Cheers

Thanks Bas, I assume that would be a mag case pull clutch box.
I'm really looing for an earlier ali case push clutch box.
Thankyou

the one I have is a push box, I think the 915 trans has the pull clutch but I don't know if this is a mag or a ali case.
