I was having same trouble as you looking for quotes a couple of weeks ago, im under 30 with 6 points no NCB on this car hence the like of heritage wouldnt quote me. I founf a company through alot of searching that gave me a very resonable quote £136 I think it was with limited milage. the company is "Graham Sykes - Classic Car http://www.graham-sykes.co.uk/ they have an online quote system and there policies are with caucer insurance that are provided by some of the more heard of brokers.

Hope this helps Steve

Just taken out a policy for my LHD 2.4T with AON as recommended by a few on here. £197 unlimited mileage, agreed value with £100 excess. Seems a good price. Footman James wanted £225 to renew with a £250 excess. I went off FJ after the problems that Airhead had when it actually came to the 'crunch'

RH Specialist Car Division wanted a similar £197, but I went with the AON recommendation.

Looks like AON are trying to win business again. Thumbs up for that.

I found out the 30-year-of-age- malarky with lancaster this year:

(yes, those that have seen me in the flesh are astounded because I look like 55 or something)

If i picked the car up on before my b-day: ££££££Kerrrrrching

On my b-day: the above -£180

That was a no-brainer then. These extra tanks of petrol went really quickly though :drunken:
