Hi guys,

I appreciate everyones feedback. This is the single hardest thing I have had to do. My 911 is my dream car.. it has everything that I ever wanted from a car and more.

If I didn't have to sell believe me I wouldn't. I think the price is pretty good bearing in mind what I have done to the car. Its a blank canvas which can be painted and completed.

On the replacement theame... what other car can replace a 911? Lotus? M-power? I think the only thing that can come close is simply another 911. I'm not sure if I will be able to replace the car for a while yet.

Higs: I have lots of pics of you and your car. Mail me and I'll send em to you.

For those chaps who have contacted me with regards to the car, I'll send more pics as soon as I can get over and take some more shots.

A reluctant sale..

Ref your American cars have you looked to advertise in Europe my mate sold all his US cars to people in Germany and Belgium..

Big following over there for these. All of them he ( I went with him on one car ) drove to the Ferry port at Portsmouth for them to collect the car.. ( Once they had said they wanted to buy it.. )

just wounder if selling the yanks would help keep the 911

Must have been a tough decision, sorry to hear that mate. Put it up on IB and I'll put it on the homepage also.

Alam, seems like a long time ago, when I came and collected the 914 from you... :)

Shame to see you selling this, have been lurking and watching its progress for a couple of years.

Sure you'll replace it with something equally 8) ..

Take care, Mark....ps, it looks sweet.
Dreaming of driving a pre-A 356, actually commuting in a Cayman and for the weekend, a 911 'thing', with a Carrera 3 engine ( we think).

It was indeed a very hard decision John. Very hard. I just hope the car goes to someone who will really enjoy it and finish it to a high standard.

Phillipe: I am sorry about the photo's taking a while. I am working and also the weather has been terrible. I'll get all the pics for you at the weekend.

My 56 Chevy station wagen is now in Norway being hot rodded. 8)

I will be taking many pics of the car over the weekend and uploading them so everyone can see the details of the body work.
