Hi Piet,
I saw your car. Very nice I really like the soft window targas. I spent the full three days on the track in the fun class. My car ran without fault, didn't even get too warm, throughout the whole weekend. In the past I've blown clutches and killed gearboxes, usually at the bus stop.
I'd really like to see more early cars on the track. Alot of the newer cars do you you space and hold off to let you enjoy teh corners, but some just push you outta the way.
Some people don't realise how easy it is for them with 4 wheel drive and traction control!!!
Anyway how about starting a Belgian chapter of DDK. We could meet up in Ostend for some fish and chips, even listen to some Marvin Gaye
How many other Belgian members do we have? Miggs do you have any idea?
There quite q cool little air-cooled show north of Antwerp in July/AUgust. We should all go to that.
Lets get it together.
Nick

Beer maybe ?fine69 wrote:Nice one but I actually meant anyone in Belgium, Netherlands. The meet is small by UK standards, in the middle of no mans land, and really not worth the trip across teh channel unless you combine it with something else.

Nick, you're welcome, anytime you're planning to visit Oostende, send me an email so we can make arrangments. Wich reminds me, I've heard that 356 International will be in Oostende next year, another reason for DDK to visit Belgium.
There are plently of aircooled meetings in Belgium most of them focused on VW's. I think the one you mean is BUG-A-ROO? Unfortunatly this event was cancelled for this year. If you can read Dutch, a very complete list of aircooled events can be found on our website (http://www.vwkeverclub.be)
Damned, I can 't see your pictures here from work our firewall is blocking them with the following mesage: "To avoid exposure to harmful material this site has been blocked". I took a closer look to the url of the picture and saw the word "nickblow", that must be reason.![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
