Gav as our phone call I think this would change the whole ethos ( big word can't spell) of the site. I think you have done enought for the club and you have clearly got links there to the club.

Also when you look at it you will see alot of the content is directed towards the PCGB. So I think you shouldn't

Mark

but I think we all need to have a wip round to get you a chrash hat for when the flack to thrown your way..

Try again - keep getting a php bug.

Gav - tell them to stuff it! Why would they want it they don't seem to have much interest in the internet or what it can do?

Will they be asking all of us who have Porsche related sites and are member to had them over?

Gav,

You're joking right? I mean they're having a laugh surely? You have no doubt invested countless hours in getting your site up to its excellent standard, and they expect you to give it to them gratis?

Your sight is an excellent resource and has plenty of links to PCGB what more do they want? I mean its just plain cheeky, you don't see David Beckham signing over his website to real Madrid just because we plays for them. It's a nonsense.

Of course if they're prepared to reimburse you for all your man hours, design costs and effort, then it's a business decision for you to make.

Don't do it Gav, that's my 2p's worth

(btw I lost my PCGB login and password when i changed jobs, so I can't access the forum anymore, no big loss there then  )

I'm with Luke (and i'd guess we all are).

Your site's so much tighter and neater than the PCGB effort with all it's many pounds haphazardly thrown at it. Creative intellectual publishing rights give them absolutely no rights at all to decide what you do with YOUR site, it's name or it's content.

'Sign over' the site? If it was down to me (and these are my thoughts, not Gav's obviously) i'd tell them to...

Whatever that 'signing' might mean

On dear, oh dear, oh dear . .

Some of you already know that I have become register secretary for early 911's . . . . the more a read about people's problems, the more I feel I've been handed a poisoned chalice. . . . all I ask is that you don't all spit at me whenever we meet (or at least not all at the same time)

Gav, you should keep your site.

Thanks for the support guys, it's a hard one as I love the people, the car and our little bit of the club, otherwise I would not have spent the time developing it in the first place. Watch this space!

Oh and Phil, it's a very rewarding job so don't be put off, really!
