Mark

I will post details as soon as I can.

It was a 15 min walk to the main square across the river (lovely!)

The hotel we stayed in which has a secure underground car park and which is a short walk from the main square is the Ibis Rouen Centre Rive Gauche Saint Sever.

There you go, my right hand man comes up with the details in the blink of an eye.

We are both booked on the Speedferries crossing and at the hotel Ibis wed night and sun night.

Prices on their website.

I think croissants and coffee in Sees at around 11am sounds like a plan.

do they offer twin rooms? From their website I can only see doubles ... & I don't really fancy sharing a double with my mate Martin

I'll be looking to only book the Wednesday night as I'll drive straight from LeMans to Boulogne on the Monday for the 5pm ferry

I've just booked the Ibis for the Wednesday night.

Unfortunately there are no discounted rooms available there or at the other Ibis, or the 2 Mercures in the centre of Rouen. :(

At this stage I think we have 8 cars going for the 'drivers' choice ;)

Brendan & Mike will be the ultimate 'highest mileage' travelled DDKers :)

They may be on the drive there, but I might have a challenge for the overall total - going down over the Millau bridge after CLM (test out my photography skills  ) and taking a holiday down near Perpignan 8) I reckon about 2,500 total miles :P
