It's quite common to find dogs of this sort in Porsches

My accessory originates from China but is a bit of a Mongrel

Talking of Mongrels.....

Do you think this couple are discussing the finer points of dog placement?

After dragging the whole family along, I was well pleased when the wife said it was 'the perfect day... something for the kids and something for dad' as we walked back to the car at about 3pm. Now there's high praise! Keeping two girls (2 year old and a 3.5 year old) happy at a car show is never easy but they were well impressed with the park.

Things got even better when I arrived back from the adventure playground and someone told me my car had somehow won best early 911. They'd been trying to find me for the presentation while I'd been on the slides! An hour or so late but still managed to get the Meguires goody bag thankfully, and then met someone who had owned my car about 18 years ago!

All in all a great event, maybe next year we can get a bigger DDK presence...

Sorry I missed you Viv.

Sorry I missed you Paul (always admire your photos from events) and others - I did manage to say hello to Mark (912UK).

Bootsy - we need a DDK Spotters item of clothing - cap, jacket....

Excellent couple of hours steady run down and back, and a very good turn out of Porsches and lots of VW. Never been to a VW meeting, and some of those cars and vans are great - and the prices !

Couple of examples, and loads more at :-

Damn - almost on my doorstep but the lack of functioning indicators meant that I couldn't make it. Shame, because it looks like a good day.

Any other locals that fancy a day out, you are welcome to boost the Porsche contingent next Saturday at a little show that I organise. About 65 confirmed cars of all makes so far...
