my thoughts exactly.

some companys pay huge sums of money for customer survays to be done
Porsche could get it for free on the forums.

Me too - good luck Helen - people are always scared by change but as long as its evolutionary and not revolutionary its usually a good thing

Refreshing we can have a 'grown up' discussion here without someone taking offense and taking it personally, then reaching for their moderator button.

I'm with Helen on the subject of affecting change from within, there are some great people in PCGB and it would be a shame to tar us/them with the same brush. I know you guys don't.

Unfortunately many people who seek power are the least equipped to deal with it, that seems to be the biggest problem...

as the famous saying goes... I wouldn't want to be a part of any club that would have me as a member!

Keep the Faith!

Helen we had our little chat about ** old git. It's great to see Gavin here now and I think we all think the same the club is set in it's own ways and I am glad that a younger croud are looking in waiting for the well distruction in a way. But with the flow of new Porsche owners I am sure the club will still be a big following.
Did Larry get in if I had know I would have posted my vote. If he is in or if he is not lets us know on this site and we can post our vote things off this time with a tick against a name we want to see in and not just chuck it in the bin.

I hope larry can change things in time I am still sort of interested in the 356 site lets see what happens.

Miggs and I are waiting to see a letter that was sent out to 356 reg people ,I did not get a copy I wounder why  as i am a reg memeber.
letter from **

I am going to rejoin just so I can be part of the do's we have and the 912 runs as well.
Gavin I am glad you are over here now, I think we can have free constructive speech here. And Mark (delete) Bennit is here as well (only joking  ) Mark can still keep in touch here and we are still one big Porsche Family really.

Cool

I think you have made a good point there, we are one big Porsche family and as such should make an effort to get on with each other.
even smelly old incontinant, grumpy great grandad, who's favorate saying is "it wasn't like this in my day" and "young whipper snappers think they know everything".

glad you have decided to re-new your membership, yes Larry did get elected as a Director, and he and i are very keen to change the image of the club and welcome in the younger more active Porsche owners.things won't happen over night so please give us a chance. we do have to work within the rather antiquated system.

with the arrival of the Cayenne into the Porsche model range the club is also going to start attracting families. so will have to change its ways.

im very impressed with the level and quantity of discounts and deals DDK is able to offer its members, and im very disappointed that the PCGB still does not seem to be addressing this issue. i'll keep campaining.
