Perhaps I can answer this, as I've just been down there: No, it's 2K black. The underside has been re-painted retaining most of the orginal spray sealer as it cleaned up very well. The wheel arches have been done in Wurth Sprayable sealer, 2K primer, and then the gloss.
The doors have just come back off for the next stage. Alan (the painter) is just about to use a mega high build 'Spray Polyester' primer over the whole of the outside of the car. This has enough build to be able to take some serious blocking off, hopefully to a nice flat base. This then gets sealed with some conventional 2K primer, and then the gloss black can go on.
He's working towards a stage of having the backs of the panels upto gloss black, with the edges of the fronts painted. The car can then be fully fitted up, panel-wise, before receiving the colour coats.

Yes, Tim, Alan (the painter) and I all moaned about it: got us nowhere

.
Worked out well though, as even in the booth it looks great, so outside it will be the business. I gather from Alan it's had it's final polishing (subject to an outdoors inspection), so we're ready to go
