well, i don't think you are going to have to worry about "fawlty Towers"forum for very much longer.

the club had a meeting of all the officials and it became very very clear to me that most of the officials of the club, are not interested in the clubs forum or web site. they have no intention of ever using them or supporting them and infact don't beleive a car cub needs to have anything to do with IT.

I with some other (i noticed)reguler forum users voted to close the forum. this will effectifly (in my opinion)turn off the life support of the forum and kill it off.

I love an organisation that moves with the times

Maybe they could start using metal blocks and ink to start printing Porsche Post

i've stopped posting anything but events on the PCGB forum as its very clear to me that it's a dying site.
Miggs,i think you can expect the numbers joining DDK to climb steadily

what a huge shame, the PCGB are really missing out

perhaps we should do a list of all the splinter groups that form from the PCGB forum end.

I mean I have had a good few chats with say 944 drivers and one day I think I might buy one So it would be a shame if we all went different ways.

This way we can still chat away in our own clubs but also keep in with the other web forums. But they will need to be like DDK where they are free to join in but a charge to join fully.

Am I talking rubbish here can you get me drift..

BTW this is my 1000th post ekk!!! 915 more than Hellen :P

makes sense to me,

maybe a link to other Porsche forums. eg boXa.net...or is that too complicated?

or an ad on this forum for their site and visa versa...
