Along with Big Deal just the very best of cartoonist you can find.
I think he STILL does it for Street Rodder, must be 40+ years now.
Looking for something else, found this...

Reminded me of the old Super CC cartoons from Custom Car mag.
Am I right in remembering he drove a Jensen Contraceptor?

Yes, he drove a Jenson!
There was an excellent write-up on the artist who did the Custom Car cartoons in an aniversarry edition about a year back.
He drew them on a large board (flip chart size) and walked them into their offices each month.
Real skill and not a computor in sight.
I'm sure our KS will remember well!
The Bell cartoons were of another 'persuation' and I marvelled at the shape and draftmanship of all his work when I had my Ford Y Type chopped hot rod in the early 70's.
I think he and Thom Tayor invented many a style such as the Phat Fords and phantom body styles, truely inspirational and influential.
I too tried my hand at this form of sketching and even sold some at early Hot Rod shows when the Y type was on the CC stand at ally Pally....such great days in the 70's.
sorry!

I'm likely to get all enthusiastic again and get mine down off the wall in the unit where it's been for the last fifteen years
