Around the early part of this year, work started on the floors (and holes for the lifts)

I wasn’t doing all this myself and had Dave the builder in to do the big stuff.

Digging the hole

And filling it with concrete

And eventually shuttering to create the holes for the lift to go in

That’ll do for now. More later

Around the same time they started raising the leprechaun doorway

And eventually put some support in. When we moved in there was a load of very old oak lying around - these were the timbers left over from the last time it was partially re-roofed

Dave the builder thought that a strut on one side was characterful. I agreed with him - for about 30 seconds
