Yep one of my favourites to, big inspiration for my build....yoda wrote:That looks so good! Reminds me of one of my all time favourite 911s
Don't let them see you going the wrong way - I'm told they're not insured for that because the crash barriers are only in place at the top bend to stop cars going clockwise... Anyway, I'd be up for renting it as a group if others were. But somewhere with more run off would be better. I nearly put mine into the barrier at Curborough correcting an oversteer.911hillclimber wrote:You can rent Curburough by you for 1/2 or a full day.
If you run the track clockwise then run anti clock it is surprisingly entertaining, the latter quite difficult.
not expensive, and in the early spring very slippy!
You can do the figure of 8 which gives half the challenge of running in reverse and is legit. All our sprint events there now use it, we haven’t done the double lap for 4 or 5 years nowRobFrost wrote:Don't let them see you going the wrong way - I'm told they're not insured for that because the crash barriers are only in place at the top bend to stop cars going clockwise... I see you are running single plug. The concensus seems to be that you need twin plug at this C/R with 95 octane especially with 2.0 heads. I can only assume you are running Super Unleaded all the time? I guess most of are now anyway mind you...MarkIII wrote: Engine basis:- 2.0 1969 S

We went for single plug, super unleaded fuel, red line is pretty std for a S engine around 7200ish......knapmann wrote:I see you are running single plug. Also whats your red line? Have you modded it to reach 8k?
