The center mount fanshrouds have a bad reputation of having poor cooling effect. And with one in my hands I can fully understand why...
No airducts of vanes to direct the air to the right places on the engine... So, after some studies and designing I took the sawsall and started cutting...
First sketch purely drawn to look like they could flow nicely...
Then some advanced scientifically testing... :D
After testing with the alternator fitted I came to the conclusion I had done a great improvement in getting the air flow to the right direction and much more evenly than before...
So, then it was time to make the milkpackage templates in sheetmetal aluminum instead... :D
Here the inner (upper) piece is fitted and the "suction ring" is pre fitted too.

Looks great. How did you test you were getting the same air flow at each cylinder?

Are you fitting the matching rear anti roll bar with camber adjuster?

No, didn't plan on doing that. These plates are made from Oval beetle torsionplates that have 24x627mm torsionbars instead of the original IRS torsionbars at 22x676mm so the rear will hopefully become stiffer just with this change.

Ah, is the shorter torsion splines inside the visible outer IRS length part?

It is all oval part. The spline part on ovals is still similar to irs. I used oval original plates. No IRS original parts at all on these. Just CNC cut IRS shape on the moving plate part.

Been prepairing more sheetmetal prior to welding. Hopefully will get them welded this weekend..
