Great scenery and roads...
Could still smell Mick's car, even when he was behind...

( This one is actually round the corner from my house

)

Couldnt agree with you more on this. I think this is a great car as it stands, it is used as it should be.

I think it has a perfect 'stance' - looks very purposeful when followed too ...

Loved your car Neil and from what I saw and heard it cruised it's 4 cylinders in style!
Yes, I was impressed too by its turn of speed on the Autobahns ...
Thanks chaps. I was very pleased with how it ran! Clearly Murphy's Law works because after I had bought lots of spares, on Mike Smith's suggested list, I didn't need any!

Thanks for keeping Jakki, & I, company during the trip. I don't think that Jakki, or myself, could of managed without some other couple to chat too!
Do you know Andy (914) username on here?

(if anyone has a photo, please, please post!)…...oh well, an impressive looking convoy ready to roll…
…cool detail wherever you looked…
…looks awesome!….
SOUNDS FANTASTIC!…
…on the road…
…and the perfect setting for lunch…
…the troops just kept coming

….
…a well travelled RS

…
…and finally we reached Baden Baden, the journey had taken it's toll on some…
…with other's already flat on their back

A very good trip and nice to meet many of the DDK folk. My sincere thanks to James and Brian for putting it all together. A few pics from the trip:
Loved the scale and space inside the museum
And the space outside
What do you get when you put a Donkey up against two of Porsche finest on some mountain roads? Starts like this ...
Ends like this ...
But there was a consolation prize
Although he was lucky to get a look in against his arch rival (for the sweet trolley)
Plus we got to visit an old friend
And had a blast on the way home
Some kettle action
And the odd head to head
All topped off with ....... more ice cream! Great way to end the trip.
My thanks to all for making it such a great 5 days.

…well, with 25 old Porsches and one modern Ferrari a recovery vehicle was booked in advance…..wouldn't have been needed if the Ferrari hadn't come!
Great to meet up with you and your friends Feroz, and thanks for taking it easy so I could keep up!

Feroz, i cant believe you went on a trip like that so poorly prepared, how on earth would you have managed to tuck those shorts into your socks if it got chilly....? utter madness...
