I'd possibly consider matching as well as you can ,... then get the car out on the road as there are always teeething problems with rebuilds etc .. and then enjoying it for the rest of the year

then when your your ready, correct the paint issues properly ???

Having see the car today that's the right answer, thanks James. It's nowhere near as bad as first intimated, it's Lee being hyper-critical

When I did the welding on my rear quarter the bodyshop recommended doing the whole LH side just for this reason. So I put a new door on it and repaired the front wing just to make sure they didn't waste the paint
