Thanks, that's about whjat I was expecting. Will leave early Friday and take in some sights on the way.

112 miles and 2 hours 12 minutes by Google Maps on motorwats for me froim Stratford.

Or I could walk it - 105 miles and 1 day 11 hours - that is some walking pace

However, from the South West, South or West Midlands, a none Motorway route could be :-

Off M5 and then Kidderminster, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, A5.

That would take me 98.2 miles and 2 hours 40 minutes, but a more scenic drive, and probably less busy than the M5/6/54 on a Friday morning.

Tom - what time are you setting off on the Friday ?

Anyone else coming from the SW, South Midlands ?

Might go early Friday and visit the Motor Museum - anyone been there ?

Car passed it's MOT today so really up for this

Will be in the 911 and can be in Llangollen (spelling ?) for say early afternoon at the motor museum, or lunchtime if their are any early birds.

Any others heading there from South / SW / Midlands who care to join a convoy or at leatsmeet for lunch and a museum viewing ?

Took the BumbleBee out for a run yesterday - not happy with a clicking/tappet noise coming from the engine. I suspect Chain Tensioners but who knows. Will be having it looked at this week - the 993 is in reserve!

Never one to leave things until the last moment

I thought I would try and join you for the week-end (or at least the Fri/Sat). Not too surprising, the Chainbridge and Wild Pheasant are full................

I read that a couple of you have had to pull out - did you cancel or just leave things open? Alternately, any suggestions regarding somewhere nearby?

Sure we can sort something out. Could you kindly add Bob and Beryl to the list for Dinner on Friday & Saturday? If we have to bed down some distance away, it might mean cutting back on the wine intake, but I am sure my liver will appreciate that.
