Well there is, in a way, although not sure DDKer's are interested much in bikes. It was taken on the Italian side of the Col de Tende (not much good for old cars up high as its unmade). I thought the photo might inspire those pondering a trip to the Alps in their cars. Do it!
We ended up on that Col because of fate. We left Cuneo, headed for Chamonix, but my mate's bike suffered this:



....caused by a mechanic's shoddy service work, leaving in a rubber seal changing a filter:

He hired this from a local Ducati/BMW dealership:



....and we spent the morning exploring the Col de Tende whilst the nice people at the Ducati shop investigated the mystery of the oil leak. Perhaps in retrospect this needs to be posted in the "ideas for a road trip" section....

Cuneo? I go to that area quite often, must get to Col de Tende. Looks like a nice ride that worked out well, in the end. And a lovely shot.
