I have two sets of stacks Dougie and will leave the HB's open on occasions however this car will be doing a fair few miles so figured it safer with filters, these are direct from ITG.

....plus it has a tendancy to make the car spit flames!....gotta watch you don't stand too close to those pipes on start up!

....
Thanks every one for all the support and kind words......hopefully I'll be able to rack up a few miles this week and sort a first service in anticipation of a proper drive the following week.....I'll then post what it sounds like when reaching those high notes!
Cheers,

A landmark occasion Darren - congratulations !
I'll bet it's a stunning sight (& sound) out on the road - look forward to seeing it at close quarters once it's fully run in & set up.

All very well Nick wearing earplugs but were the shorts strictly a good idea?! At least his trousers won't catch fire

.....thanks Andy, very much looking forward to seeing the 356 too, hopefully real soon.
Thanks once again guys......hoping I'm not getting ahead of myself in my excitement, still a little tweaking to do before it's road ready and all sorts of things can go wrong after a full rebuild. Fingers crossed!
Cheers,
