Southbound made up all new panels for me. I'd asked for everything to be trimmed in black leather.

I presented them with the old rear shelf panel but it was the wrong grain vinyl and the fluted design was incorrect. It should be very plain.
In fact they discarded most of the panel supplied, the only part they re-used was the formed/curved 'hinge' that runs the full width along the middle.
Each of the flat sections were replaced with brand new hardboard.

Lovely.

The moulded plastic structures for the rear quarters were repaired from both sides (to fill an earlier aperture cut for a speaker), smoothed and re-covered.

The door cards for a 1974 Carrera are very plain.
All the UK cars had electric windows as standard.

Southbound manufactured the complete cards from scratch.
New hardboard, flat and true and covered in black leather.

Very nice indeed. Southbound were very helpful in my own internal refit I did, supplying parts and lots of help.

What was the dashboard like
