I've been lurking here on and off for a while but thought it was time to become visible. Here's my 'old girl' for those that have not seen it on the Early S site.
The car has interesting stories to tell. It was delivered to Basel, CH then changed hands once in CH to an independent mechanic/racer (his shop decals are still on the car in back of the front wheels, he also put on the Gold side graphics). It was then sold to a Kiwi. He was the NZ Porche Club (decal in right rear vent window) president at the time. His daughter took delivery and drove it in CH for 6 months before it could be imported to NZ.
I happen to have several photos of her with the car crossing the Channel to the UK on holiday. Once in NZ it changed hands there once. Following this the owner moved to Western AU where it lived the longest. He then sold it via eBay to the US to a physician in Michigan (USA) who owned it for several years. He then put the car up for auction again in 2003 where I saw it on the online catelogue. I talked him out of selling it on the auction and bought it then. I drove it a short while but the suspension and engine were very tired so we did a complete mechanical rebuild which was done last summer. Currently it has 104k documented Kilometers on the odometer.
Now its time to drive and show it off.

Hi there,
My name is Kaïs. I live in Belgium. Here are a couple of pictures of my old lady.
The car (2.4E) was sold in november 1971 in Chicago. Then there's a slight gap until 1997 where it was purchased in California by its first belgian owner (and thus brought back to Belgium). I bought it from this person in 2003.
The car is very original. It is matching number, and is in the same configuration it was in 1971 (all options are there).
I use it as often as possible, sort of a daily driver. I put it twice on the track, but it's clearly not its favourite place.
Cheers.
Kais
