Yes the engine does look good!

Cheers!
Should really change the dissy, however it isn't as it appears. It's an 030 or whatever the code is from an SC engine.
Gill.

Re: Finally found one... My 57 356 A
A bit more progress.
After the chromer I first used obliterated one of the Mazak ends of my rear pop out catches I decided to remake them from stainless. Took a while but they turned out nice, it's hard to tell really. I tapped them & used m3 button head bolts to secure them.

Also the car is now in 1st stage epoxy etch primer ready for final prep.

Re: Finally found one... My 57 356 A
Thanks Roy.
From the pictures it looks good yes, the painter has sent me about 30 up to yet.
Meanwhile on with the tedious less glamorous jobs....
Had the seat rails blasted & painted them. Also had the runners Nickel plated & the latches & springs chromed.
Had a load more of the original screws re chromed. I'm getting sad with this now, even the chromer thinks so!

That looks fantastic Gill. I love the highlight lines on a smooth
and shiny 356 shell.
