Also the interior is finished bar the foot rest/boards and fitting the new opening door pockets yet to arrive from Porsche.

I am really happy with how the original steering wheel truned out. We stripped, painted and re-trimmed it, plus found a replacement horn push.

Thanks for looking

Hi,

Progress has slowed down since the last pics, but we have almost finished the trunk area just some minor detailing to finish.

Alan:
Have you used PRI bushes in all the suspension or just on the engine/box mounts?

Looks fantastic Alan.

I'd love you to do a restoration for me. But I'd be scared to ever drive it...seems sacriledge to get it dirty!

Can I add my praise to those posts already sent. I think this must surely be one of the most complete restorations I've ever seen and to concours standards. The result is gorgeous.

Can you estimate the total number of hours spent on the car ?

I hope you get a good price to reward you for your labours !...

:)

Great work Alan,

I thought mine was a bit grim, but positively showroom from where you started.

As ever the fnished result is a tribute to your care and attention, a lesson for us all!

Cheers

Thanks again for the kind words.

Progress on this car (as it is my own) has been slow recently due to other restoration requirements.

I found a few pics of other new parts fitted recently. We have stripped and re-calibrated the MFI pump and now fitted along with the fully rebuilt throttle bodies. The fan has been correctly detailed - I will rivet this back together tomorrow.

Excellent work, she looks like new! Really well done guys.

Don't know how you're ever going to top this unless next time you just start from scratch without any car to stick bits to.
