Thanks Andy, I greatly appreciate the comment.

I do sometimes wonder if I've over done things but then I'm only doing this once so just having fun.......ultimately the car will look pretty much like any other tangerine 911 and not 'in your face'......plus 95% of people won't even notice the details anyway....

.....being a 'sleeper' fits well with me :)

Darren - you shouldn't be so coy about an unveiling... you should have two. One as a static display at Hedingham and another as a blur at track of your choice (Snetterton's good now)

Please get it to Hedingham...

A landmark reached Darren - must be a great feeling.

One thing that might be worth checking (I can't quite tell from your picture) is that the wheels are on the correct sides - not everyone is familiar with this requirement for CR6 ZZ tyres.

The 4/5 digit specification number in a rectangle on the sidewall needs to face to the left (F) & to the right (R) ...

....thanks for this Andy although not quite sure what you mean (there's no indication of the tyres being directional)?...

....there's this number on the outside wall of the NSR wheel.....

....on the other three wheels this number appears to be on the inside tyre wall. Does this mean they need switching around on the rim, do you have an example?

Yes Darren, they are unidirectional. Something Andy pointed out to me a few years ago (where would we be without him) after I shredded one of the rears on my RS. The tread just peeled off! A lesson learnt but Andy put me right.

The car looks tremendous Darren. A lot of time and effort but the result is going to be outstanding.

Regards
Mike
