Does anyone know how much a std screen costs ?
I've got to put my car back together, there is a chip in the screen , so new would be a good idea, but in a Targa, basically more so a summer car, is a heated one worth while. Wiring it is is no hastle to me, just from a cost basis.

Flippin 'eck that's cheap. I had a replacement top tint fitted by the RAC last year (could not nominate a supplier) and they sent the insurers a bill for £620. Plus they broke my NEW rear view mirror!nick-moss wrote:A standard screen is about £150 + VAT fitted

Did you complain to them ? - in my experience those who shout loudest to the insurance co.s get the most recognition

No didn't need to, the guys ordered me a new one from OPC Sutton Coldfield. Bit of a pain having to put my old mirror on to do Classic Le Mans though. One of my guys is a high-up with the RAC, so he would have sorted it for me if I'd been given short shrift.stuby wrote:Who were the insurers? Did you complain to them ?
