What do people recommend for Gear box oil

EP 90 is heavy and can make a box sound quite.( was told that by a Porsche service guy) But what is the orginal rating?

I put swepco in, and it did seem to make a bit of difference. However the big problem was getting the stuff in the filler plug, which is half-way up the side of the 'box and only accessible from underneath (unless I'm doing something REALLY stupid?).

yep its a PITA to refill, you need to use a sort of pint sized squeezy bottle with a bendy neck to get it in the filler gap

Or an Eezibleed, which is what I used. Slow, but it worked.
