porsche 912 project ?

Post by andrewchewmagna »

I've Just picked up my first porsche a 68/912 from Chatham docks and it was love at first sight, having not viewed the car other than photo's on ebay, I was in all honesty expecting the worst,Its the last time I go on ebay after leaving the village pub on a friday night thats for sure, unless of course I'm looking for spares. I feel I can now join the club and have down loaded the forms which will be in the post once I can get the printer to go.
The main reason for the email is should I post the project when it begins or have you guys seen it all before?

Ooooh! I hope you're not hinting at something in connection with 912s with Porsche engines and 912s with VW engines...? 8)

:? no you lost me there. :|

Gas struts yep

bin them

don't buy the usual ones from the main UK dealers ( sorry guys but you keep selling the junk ones.. buy from a company in Germany called Febo www.feboe.de ask for the higher Newton Meter ones they are twice the price and they last..

The current ones being sold work for about 10 mins and then drop and are useless.. but they make a nice profit selling them to you every 6 months..
