Weber carburator - not Porsche, but please help!

Post by vricardo »

Hi, sorry if you find this post out of context, but I need a Weber carburator for a friend's father Ford 1,6 Sierra and don't know where to go...
I have the chassis and engine number, but nothing more. Please help!
Thank you very much,
Vasco Ricardo

Exactly the very first place I've looked, but got zero answers... the problem is that I do not know the ref of the carburator, since the label is missing. First I need to find out what model is the Weber carb, based on the engine number... theres should be sites with that info in the UK, right?

I put "sierra weber carburettor" into google and came up with this:-

http://www.quantumcars.co.uk/products/d ... and-parts/

They are a kit car manufacturer with a reasonable reputation, I would ring them and they should be able to help you.

Regards

Neil
