911 Cold Start

Post by 74Targa »

Hi chaps, any advice or info on this would be appreciated.

The cold start lever has been disconnected on my car and this time of year after a couple of weeks sat in the garage the car will not idle and constantly wants to stall for the first 5 minutes.

I believe this is why it has the cold start lever to increase revs for a couple of minutes.

Is this an easy job to reconnect ???

The cold start lever acts directly onto the throttle rod under the handbrake. Take the handbrake assembly off and you should see a plastic shoe clipped over the rod,

Cheers Nick I'll have a look this weekend. All being well sounds like a fairly easy job.
