Help identifying snorkels

Post by PMNorris »

Now I'm clearing out parts I no longer need, I realise I have 2 snorkels. Pretty sure one was from my 1970 T. Not sure about the other. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Image not visible to me but I have a couple of snorkels, one off a 1970 E which I could identify.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

.

The one on the right looks like a std snorkel for 1970/'71 2.2 litre models - think it fits the '69 2.0 litre models too.

The one on the left looks like a modified (shortened) version of the above (although it looks 'professionally' done).

- or, possibly from a 914/6 (can't remember offhand what they look like) ...

Hello all,

They both originate from the same snorkel type, the one on the left seems cut and bended. I do not recall to see any other snorkel like that throughout the years, but I may be wrong. I had a short wheel base that does not have the tongues to screw the ears but, and I have the right one that fits on my 70 model.
