I'm interested to see how the voltage output from the dynamo, whilst driving. Interested to see how it fluctuates with power, use of lights.
Would a voltage meter that sticks in the cigarette lighter give a general indication? I'm not looking for total accuracy - more general idea.
This is assuming the socket is working and I can find a meter that works at less than 12V.
Thanks
Phil

Re: Voltage Testing - Whilst Underpower
I put together an Amazon special (non-Porsche Club approved) digital meter, wires running through the window and outside the car. Output from the dynamo and operation of the regulator all good. I quite fancy integrating a meter that looks a bit more in keeping within driving view.

The socket one works fine in mine for what it does, if that helps
