Hello,
I recently had a new battery cable fitted. The twin type from kroone. Wire to the starter and the tail which runs to secondary battery.
Before it was removed I had a black cable that clamped to the battery positive and seems to run into the top junction box. 3rd position from top with I think is low beam?
Does this sound right?
I’m wondering if it’s redundant. Car is RHD 69t coupe.
Thanks Lee

Re: More wiring questions?
That is correct , thick black wire from battery positive to 3rd terminal on top fuse block, it connects behind via busbar to connect to terminals 1,2 possibly 4 and 5 also
low and high beam are 1-4 on the lower fuse panel
Thats on my 69 RHD 912 which I am pretty sure share the same wiring loom

Re: More wiring questions?
might be worth getting a wiring diagram
https://www.912bbs.org/forum/threads/wi ... ram.61232/
If you read the thread , you will see that 911 have 3 extra wires for oil pressure sender etc, I have these in my 912
Just a thought
Andrew

Re: More wiring questions?
Thanks Andrew.
I haven’t removed any wires for the junction boxes so I’m hoping it should be ok when starting the car. The cable in question was my only issue.
Yesterday I cleaned every wires screw and terminal. A labor some job. But looks so much better and hope it will help.
Thanks buddy
