Road master air horn

Post by leedurrant73 »

Hello,

When I bought my car 13 years ago it had the roadmaster compressor bolted under the drivers wheel arch. The horns had been replaced with a set of Bosch horns.

Over the years it must have been made redundant and a standard type horn is also bolted to the inner bumper.

I managed to clean and repair the compressor and it works so I’d like to use it again. I did find a set of road master horns but my question is…. Do I have to use a proper fiamm 12v relay?

I have a Bosch relay currently installed?

I’ve seen threads saying a separate switch was used for air horns on the dashboard and make me think a switch or button was probably one of the holes I found under the Speedo, lower dash area. Prior to my Resto I remember seeing two holes on the inner wing which may have held a fiamm relay. The spacing looks correct from what the relays look like on the net.

May be it had two horns working at same time?
Any thoughts or experiences similar ?

Thanks
