Windscreen install
Hello good people, I'm in need of a reputable windscreen installer to fit the new windscreen which I have now received from Pilkingtons after a three month wait, in my 356 T6 B . If you know of a possible person or company that would preferably, be in the Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire areas do please get in touch. In a perfect world I would like to get this job done this week before a track day I've booked for this coming (5th) Saturday. Thanks!

If you don't get any other responses send a pm to Stuart Lee ('stuby' here on DDK) - he's the manager of Doncaster branch of National Windscreens & will be able to recommend a fitter.
Or contact him direct via their website:

Re: Windscreen install
I used Addison Glass & Windscreens in Guildford to fit both screens in my ‘79 911 Targa. They came to me.
'79 Targa - restoration now mainly complete & being driven

Re: Windscreen install
Hi Guys, thanks for your kind response, Doncaster may be a bit too far for me to go, but, Guildford would be fine and by chance it was Addison Glass that fitted my screen originally, must be about 10 years ago, so, of course these were the first to be contacted in my current quest. Unfortunately, they advised that their master windscreen man will skill for all classic vehicles had retired and they no longer could provide a service. However, a quick phone around brought me to GCS Porsche in Mannings Heath, just down the road from Horsham, and they advise they have the skills to fit my screen so hopefully, after four months (that is the time it has taken to get my new blue top tinted screen) I shall no longer have to peer around the cracks.

Sounds like you're sorted now but just to clarify - my suggestion about contacting Stuart Lee (DDKer 'stuby') was because he works for National Windscreens ... ie they have a network of approved fitters throughout the UK
