Long-term Sam enthusiasts may remember that before I became aware of the spiritual futility of exchanging my labour for money I had a job at Paul Stephens for 18 months or so in 2010ish.

During that time we had these watches made.

They were made by Elysee in Germany with a 25 jewel automatic ETA 28xx movement. I can’t remember which exact one though, maybe someone else can tell from the pic?

Each is numbered x/100 but there actually weren’t 100 made. We weren’t brave enough to order 100 at the start and ordered 50. They sold out instantly but when we went back to order the remaining 50 Elysee only had 10 or so of some critical part remaining so there are in fact about 60 out there. Mine is number 60. 1-50 exist as consecutive numbers then we picked the round numbers after that - 60, 70 etc. plus maybe 73 or some other fun relevant ones, I can’t exactly remember.

Anyway. That’s the story. This is the watch.

I wore it a bit at the start but don’t wear watches now. It’s very decent condition and I’ve got the leather box and cardboard outer box and everything.

They were £500 new. I’ve never seen one for sale used.

I’m happy to sell it for whatever market value is but what on earth is that?

Do any of you hot n saucy babes want it?

Doesn’t really have a market value - worth what somebody will pay you!

Guess it’s an ETA 2824 inside, decent movement and used in many very expensive watches

2824 sounds right, thanks.

I think I’ll see if anyone wants it for the original price and drop it from there if not.

Where’s a good place to stick it, please? Chrono24 is the only one I know of.

Thought this may help you, but the link in the forum goes to some Chinese web page, probably too old a link?
