Good to e-meet you all!

Greetings from London. Currently having a RHD 912 SWB being restored with Rindt, intending to do a 964 RSR evocation from a RHD race car I acquired recently with a 3.8l engine, also planning a 944 GTP build at some point. Two garage queens are the 996 GT3 and 190 SL (UK RHD). For my sins I'm dailying a Taycan ST. Have also attached my last project I sold which was an RS backdate (3.0 SC ex Paul Stephens re-done by Jaz).

Always looking to acquire project cars or rare queens :-)

Insta is @ducktales66 if anyone wants it.

Thanks!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Welcome.

That merc is very nice. The 3.8 in the 964 must pull well ?

Exciting times on the 912 at that stage of the build. As Feroz asks, what’s the plans / spec it’s being built to ?

Yer the 964 is around 335 bhp and weighs 1075kg which is cool.

912 will be black on black. Back to stock.

I had FCZ9211 as a kinda ST thing with red decals and minilites maybe 15 years ago. I did many sweet skids in that car for a year or two. That was in the days when £15k got you a useable hot rod that you didn’t have to be precious about. Happy times.
964 C2 Targa. 205 1.6 GTi. Testarossa. Fisher Fury Fireblade. Motorhome. Motorbikes. Scooters. Pushbikes. Threadbare Saucony Peregrines. Dog. Human relations and friends. 97.5%-built house.

It drove really well, but was backdated and painted on the sort of teeny budget that made sense on a £15k car - I bet it looked a lot sharper after that Jaz resto.

And here is the afters..Steve did a cracking job. New bodywork, gearbox parts, break parts, engine was only running on 5 cylinders, original Fuchs...sold it to do the 912 resto! Missing it thoughImageImageImageImage
