Excellent service from Ake - the new plate turned up today and it looks good.

Lets hope that I don't muck it up when it's re-stamped - and I haven't decided whether to use the original paint code or the new one.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for a paint ID plate for my '71 2.2T? Car didn't have this plate when I got it so not sure which is the correct type. Believe Karmann built car but not sure. A bonus if the supplier could stamp it as well.

I would need to know the VIN and original colour.

Anyone recommend a stamp set at a reasonable price which reflects the original size / font which porsche used

looks like when johnM stamped the tags he used stamps that were owned by Mike Bainbridge.

Actually, after a bit of going through old invoices- my plate did not come from Design911- I got it from Wojtek at Carbone in Poland- he still sells them, all versions:
