Yes, though it was kinda thought of the other way round - starting a race car build with a cab or targa gave a stiffer end product than a coupe due to the extra factory strengthening.

SportWagen metal/paint is a great starting point. Engines never had a rebuild is the not so great part.
I saw your 964 silver resto thread on 911uk. Looks like we’ll both be busy. First off, need to get it booked in to Southbound ASAP for trimming.
