More North Yorkshire for you all :
Oliver’s Mount Scarborough , if you’re in the area worth a visit as it’s all public roads and you can drive it all.
“Oliver's Mount Road Race circuit is the only real road circuit on mainland UK soil. It's unique, with every combination of corners and even a few jumps thrown in for good measure.”
Modern day
Some Rally action at Olivers Mount from back in the peak? rally days, I’m assuming the RAC as they usually did Dalby / Cropton forests

That’s got some pretty wide wings on it - not sure about the wheels but that is some pick up. Gorgeous paint

What's next then Andy?
maverick

2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Strange auction - the most cars they've ever had at the NEC (165) with a few world record prices ... £108k for a Mk I RS2000 Escort & £486K for an RS200 Evolution but many cars failed to meet their reserves. My Elite was one of the few cars that exceeded their expectations !
So, to answer your question James, it sold for more than I expected in the current market but less than I hoped - but overall I think it was the right time to sell.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Good to hear … especially as it seems the arse seems to be falling out of the market at the moment.
Had a close friend watching and almost bidding on another rare car in the same auction but the e reserve was based on prices of 12 months ago … car didn’t hit reserve or sell
