God I hope it's real
Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I think it's real. The Traveller rear bodied one works better, though. IMHO...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
The back appears to be a VW Bus, maybe a Type 1 body grafted onto the back end of a Beetle. Just needs a longer gear selector rod, and accelerator cable and off you go?
Or you could have one of these?

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Now found the auction site it was on, with more pictures, Looks like there is more of the original beetle shell intact lurking behind the Panel van extension, as the original rear end of the Beetle appears to be in there, minus the deck lid???
For sale in Brazil of all places, and VW had a Beetle factory there.

Very real...
Not as nice as my friends Serge Leflohic's Beetle 'Traveller', though...

What a great piece of sideways thinking that is!
Looks so right.
Love it when people put such imagination into play.

Spotted at Goodwood.
Apparently the next mod is to put a Pontiac Aztec body on it.

What a grand day out, day 2 of VSCC Loton Park Double header: Jnr 2nd in class (<1100 Sports Cars), and only competitor to drive to & from, and a relaxed day of chat, proud parenting and spannering for us olds travelling in the 1933 Frazer Nash TT replica....
