Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I think, but far from certain, that that's an ID, on account of the unfaired single fixed headlights......W

.
- whereas I'd say it's a DS19 ...
The 'ID' models were basically simpler mechanically than the 'DS' models (& hence more basic/cheaper) with fewer components controlled by the hydraulic system.
The exposed single headlamps were a feature of both DS & ID models prior to the facelift in 1967.
Other features which point to it being a DS (to me) are the stainless steel wheel embellishers covering the whole wheel (as opposed to a smaller conventional hubcap usually seen on the ID) & the fact that it has the auxiliary front lights (the 'Pallas' lamps as seen on many early 911's) & a sunroof - both additional cost options not ofter seen on the cost-cutting ID models ...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Keith, I have to take issue with the quotation you used.
It was " We are considerably richer than yow". Spoken of course in a Black Country accent. So
" thou" is not part of the lexicon from that particular part of England.
Journalists ; can't be relied upon to get quotes correct.
