A few parts needed

Post by stretch »

I am after a good used internal door knob button as pictured in this link.https://www.deikaferservice.com/shop/pr ... -912-65-70

Also after a small piece of original Black basketweave for my radio delete plate. Anyone got a scrap 69-70 door card with some vinyl on.? Finally, my oil level dipstick has snapped, so looking for a good rust free one, maybe Porsche still sell the correct type.?

Please PM if you can help.

There's a vague chance that I've got one/some of those internal door buttons Dave - will have a look in the garage & report back ...

Sorry for raising anyone's hopes - the one I remembered/found was in fact a VW item that was fitted to one of my cars when I bought it (subsequently swapped for the correct 911 part) ...

Bump. Still looking for a decent original plastic door knob button and a piece of basketweave.

Hi Dave,
If the original door pull you need is the same as that on a 73, speak to Gary Cook. I bought a batch of these, kept a couple and sold the rest to him to use on his restorations.
Kind regards
Gitesh

I have a scrap 1970 doorpanel so I have some spare original black basketweave. How much do you need?
Are the door lock push not available in repro, or are the repros not good? I need one of these too so asking out of interest :)

I need a decent piece to recover a radio delete plate, so a piece around 10" x 5" inches would do. I have not seen a repro button in person but fear it will be very shiny. :)

Any shiny plastic, spray with carb cleaner - soon turn it dull and matt!!
